Welcome to Padebby!
My name is Deborah Paul, a wife and a mother of two lovely kids.
I started this blogging journey in 2024 after I resigned from the banking industry in February 2024 where I worked for eleven years as an administrative officer because of relocation.
The decision to stop a career I have built for more than a decade wasn’t an easy one but at the same time I wanted to be there for my kids, be part of their growing up which was one thing I missed doing a white collar job.
I love anything that has to do with motherhood as a young growing girl, the challenges of a mom, the pains of trying to get it right with the kids, girl talks, building a boy child to be versatile, which made me take up the responsibilities of teaching the teenagers in my local church for some years. The tough decision of baby friendly as a working class mom, and how I navigated it with success
I am a graduate of Marketing with other certifications in Project Management (PMP) and Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP) and loads of professional management training.
Few months after my resignation, it dawned on me that staying at home was a difficult task , the initial plan was to stay home for two years and home school our kids. It was difficult staying home after two months, it began to feel like I was losing my purpose and passion and then I told myself one beautiful morning that I was going to look for a way out because I couldn’t imagine myself not doing anything that is challenging aside from taking care of the kids and our home.
In a quest for a solution, I was introduced to Joy Onovo of Anuris journey blog by a friend, she is a wonderful woman and my coach who introduced me to blogging. While I was waiting, I signed up for some Parenting courses that would help me understand what makes children tick, how to help them develop to the best of their abilities, build their confidence, support their mental health and be a better mom.
So here I am, baring myself and my experience out on this blog. I hope you find all the inspiration your need.
